Story:
As we crossed over a huge bridge in Kruger National Park, all you could see were the eyes and ears of a number of hippos peering out of the water. Although their grunts can be heard for miles, spotting them in the water can be a more challenging task. After sitting patiently, this large hippo appeared from below the surface and graced us with an enormous yawn ⏤ showing us one of the most powerful jaws on planet Earth. These creatures are incredibly misunderstood due to being the cause of around 500 human deaths per year, but it’s important to remember that they are just defending their territory. If we respect them, they will respect us too.
